Meet your group at the international airport.
Check in for your overnight flight to Madrid, Spain and begin your journey to Europe.
Meals and entertainment are provided on board as you cross the Atlantic.
🗓️ Day 2 – Arrival & Architectural Orientation
Morning: Arrive at Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). Board a private motor coach for a direct transfer to check into a centrally located, group-friendly youth hostel.
Afternoon: Embark on a walking orientation tour of central Madrid led by your Tour Leader. While strolling down Gran Vía, students will participate in an interactive workshop challenging them to analyze a key digital arts element the contrast and integration of hyper-modern, multi-story LED digital advertising displays seamlessly wrapped around the historic 1920s architecture.
Evening: The group goes for an authentic, traditional Tapas-style group welcome dinner at a local neighborhood restaurant, introducing students to Spain's historic culinary heritage and interactive dining culture.
🗓️ Day 3 – Fine Art & Interactive Digital Spaces
Morning: Meet the local guide for a classic tour of Madrid’s historic core, highlighted by an academic visit to the world-renowned Prado Museum. This tour features a central digital arts element called the "Digital Angle," where students explore how modern technology is utilized by conservators to reveal hidden sketches and secret paint layers buried for 500 years beneath masterpieces by Velázquez and Goya.
Afternoon: Step inside IKONO Madrid, located directly across from the Reina Sofía museum. This venue is a fully indoor, highly interactive sensory and digital art gallery. It combines digital liquid light installations, interactive projection rooms, and avant-garde textures designed to make students physically interact with and rethink contemporary digital space.
Evening: Reconvene for a delicious 3-course set menu dinner at a local restaurant in Madrid, giving students a chance to unwind and discuss their sensory art discoveries.
🗓️ Day 4 – Sports Engineering & Tech Foundations
Morning: Enjoy an exclusive guided visit to the iconic Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Students will explore this newly renovated marvel of modern engineering, including a massive 360-degree hanging LED scoreboard, a digitized interactive trophy room with VR highlights, and immersive virtual skill challenges.
Afternoon: Proceed to the Fundación Telefónica Space on Gran Vía. This tech-cultural center features the cutting-edge "Exponential" exhibition, which tracks the evolution from analog to digital communication.
Evening: Experience a spectacular cultural immersion with dinner inside a traditional local Tablao, followed by a live Flamenco show!
🗓️ Day 5 – Digital Culture Hubs & Creative Tech
Morning: Explore the "New Horizon" Hubs starting at Matadero Madrid, a massive converted industrial slaughterhouse turned contemporary cultural mega-hub. This morning is entirely dedicated to digital arts elements: first, touring MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) to witness its 2,000-square-meter development space featuring massive projection mapping and 360-degree digital screens; then, visiting Medialab Matadero, an open workspace global laboratory where modern artists utilize raw code, software platforms, and open-source data to generate interactive community art pieces.
Afternoon: The group goes to the Nomad Immersive Museum (Nomad Art Market). This venue projects moving classical painting masterpieces directly onto the walls and floors, accompanied by curated spatial audio, lighting effects, and interactive mirror hallways that expand their appreciation of digital display environments.

🗓️ Day 6 – The Ultimate Analog Fortress City
Morning: Board your motorcoach for a captivating day trip to Toledo, accompanied by a local guide. Step away from the high-tech digital screens to explore the ultimate analog fortress city, including Toledo Cathedral and the St. Tomé Church. Students will have the chance to explore a conceptual digital arts by analyzing how medieval layouts, stone architecture, and complex topography directly inform the digital environmental design of modern, open-world video games (such as Assassin's Creed).
Afternoon: Enjoy free time in Toledo before transferring back via motor coach to Madrid. Spend the remaining part of the afternoon enjoying safe, supervised shopping and souvenir gathering around the lively Puerta del Sol and Calle Preciados retail districts.
Evening: Gather together for a special, multi-course Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant in Madrid, providing a perfect setting to celebrate the week's creative discoveries and shared experiences!

Morning: Enjoy a final group breakfast at the hostel before boarding your motor coach for a direct transfer to Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD).
