Sample Itinerary

🚌 Day 1 – From Home to the Heart of Montreal

6:00 AM – Depart from school aboard your private motorcoach. Settle in, enjoy comfort stops and scenic views, and grab lunch along the way (packed or purchased).

1:00 PM – Arrive in Montreal and meet your energetic tour leader who will be your guide and storyteller for the days ahead.

1:15 PM – Guided walking tour of Old Montreal: from Place d’Armes to Rue Saint-Paul, uncover the city’s French colonial roots, complete with cobblestones and cathedral views.

2:30 PM – Free time for lunch in Old Montreal (individual expense)—maybe a crêpe, smoked meat sandwich, or a classic Québécois poutine.

3:30 PM – Travel underground (and back in time) at Pointe-à-Callière, Montreal’s award-winning archaeology and history museum built atop the city’s original foundations.

5:00 PM – Hotel check-in and a little time to recharge.

6:30 PM – Dinner at a local bistro in Old Montreal—great food, good company, and plenty of charm (included).

8:00 PM – Ghost walk of Old Montreal—cobblestone alleys, lantern light, and spine-tingling tales bring the city’s past to life.

9:30 PM – Return to the hotel for the night.


🏙️ Day 2 – Sights, Science & Maple Delight

8:00 AM – Breakfast at the hotel with your tour leader.

9:00 AM – Panoramic city tour of Montreal: Sainte-Catherine Street, Chinatown, Quartier des Spectacles, the Plateau, and Mile End—with a fresh Montreal-style bagel stop along the way.

11:00 AM – Walk up Mont Royal for sweeping city views and a springtime breath of fresh air.

12:00 PM – Free time to explore Montreal’s Underground City and grab lunch (individual expense). Practice your French and discover a maze of boutiques and cafés beneath the streets.

2:00 PM – Step into five ecosystems under one roof at the Biodome—from the Amazon to the Arctic, it’s a science experience students won’t forget.

4:00 PM – Depart Montreal and head northeast toward Quebec City.

6:00 PM – En route stop for a classic Cabane à Sucre (Sugar Shack) Dinner—hearty maple-laced comfort food, traditional folk music, and hands-on taffy pulling (included).

9:45 PM – Arrive in Quebec City and check into your hotel inside or near the historic district.


🏰 Day 3 – Castles, Culture & the St. Lawrence

8:00 AM – Breakfast at a nearby café or at the hotel.

9:30 AM – Visit the Martello Towers—climb inside the stone walls and learn about Quebec’s military past, cannons and all.

10:30 AM – Guided walking tour of Old Quebec—Upper and Lower Town, the Citadel, and iconic Château Frontenac. Ride the funicular and stroll along 17th-century merchant streets.

12:00 PM – Free time for lunch and exploration in Old Quebec (individual expense)—wander, shop, and practice your bonjours and mercis.

1:30 PM – Travel along the St. Lawrence River to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica—a pilgrimage site of miracles and mosaics.

2:30 PM – Discover Quebec legends in wood at Atelier Paré, where myth meets folk art.

3:30 PM – Cap the afternoon with a walk along the Montmorency Falls boardwalk—taller than Niagara and breathtaking in spring.

4:30 PM – Return to the hotel to rest and refresh.

2:00 PM – Depart for home with memories made, friendships formed, and hearts full of maple syrup and history.
